I owned the older model prior to this with the smaller electric range and lower power, which was very good. So good that I bought the newer model with the larger battery pack and higher power output. With the optional Polestar upgrade on the engine management, it makes this car seriously fast.
With the acceleration aside, being able to commute on pure electric on a daily basis enables me to achieve 90+ mpg just about all of the time. On a longer journey when the battery depletes, it is still able to do 27mpg fully laden with a roof box, which for the size and weight of the car is respectable.
This car is comfortable, luxurious, a dream to drive and one of the safest cars you can buy. I would 100% recommend this car.
How reliable do you find the car?
I have had a few niggles with rattles but they have been sorted.
